Katy earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma WA. She was originally raised in Klamath Falls where she attended Henley High school and later went on to get her Bachelor’s in Biology at OIT. She spent 2 years working on a wildland fire crew during her summer’s while at college, and 2 more years after school working seasonally at ski resorts in the winter and clearing trails in the wilderness in the summer. In 2014 she decided to pursue an interest in physical therapy while working at a clinic as an exercise technician before starting her journey to become a physical therapist
at the University of Puget Sound in 2017. She recently moved back to Klamath Falls from Washington to be closer to family and enjoy the rural aspects of the Klamath Basin.

Katy and her husband Brant are very passionate about travel and outdoor activities. They spend most of their free time in the winters skiing and snow camping. In the summers they enjoy backpacking and whitewater rafting. They have 1 very spoiled dog who gets to go on most of their outdoor adventures.

Since moving back to town, Katy has been getting involved with high school volleyball at Henley where she played for 4 years. She loves working with athletes of all ages to help them return to the activities they love. She is also very passionate about teaching young
athletes how to build a strong foundation to prevent injuries and improve longevity with their sport.
